Are you planning a birthday party, holiday party or
anniversary? Why not make FSR the beneficiary of your next
celebration?
Planned Giving
Whether your estate is
large or small, you can support FSR during your lifetime and beyond
through various planned gift avenues. Be sure to ask your financial
planner about advantages of charitable gift annuities, life
insurance, retirement funds, charitable trusts, and others, as well
as the financial and tax benefits available to you with your planned
gift.
To make a
bequest of cash, securities, or other property to the Foundation for
Sarcoidosis Research through your will, it should state:
"I give and bequeath to the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research, a
non-profit
organization with Federal ID #36-4378232, having its principal
office at
122 South Michigan Avenue, Suite 1700, Chicago, IL 60603..." and
then indicate a dollar amount, a percentage of your estate or a
specific asset (for example, stock, securities).
If you
would like more information on planned giving, please call us at
(866) 358-KISS (5477) or e-mail us at

Gifts of Stocks and/or
Securities
Many individuals choose to donate stocks and/or securities to
the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research because of the unique tax
benefits these assets may yield when donated to a charitable
organization.
If you would like to donate stock and securities, please call Julie
at (866) 358-KISS (5477) or e-mail
julie@stopsarcoidosis.org.
Matching Gifts
Many companies will match their employees contributions to
qualifying nonprofit organizations, often doubling or sometimes even
tripling the amount of the donation. Contact your Human Resources
Department to find out if your company has such a program and how to
request for your gift to be matched. If you have any questions,
please call us at (866) 358-KISS (5477) or e-mail us at
info@stopsarcoidosis.org.
United Way or
Workplace Giving
If you contribute to a local United Way campaign or another
workplace charitable giving campaign through a payroll deduction,
your program may allow you to direct a portion of your contribution
to the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research. To do so, on your
pledge form, please indicate that you want to support either the
"Donor Choice Program" or "Other 501c3 Organization" and then add
the following information:

Organ and Tissue Donation
Many patients and their families contact FSR to express interest in
organ and tissue donation to support sarcoidosis research. Tissue
donation can provide patients with a way to help diminish the impact
of diseases like sarcoidosis. Learn more about
