Although sarcoidosis was once thought to be rare, the
disease is now known to be common and affects people worldwide. In fact,
it is the most common fibrotic lung disorder. Yet, for many individuals,
the first time they have heard the word 'sarcoidosis' is when they, or a
loved one, are diagnosed.
These videos remind are designed to raise awareness of
the disease and to remind patients everywhere that they are not alone in
their struggle.
FSR 10th Anniversary Video The year 2010 marks a celebration of 10 years of successful
research programs and other crucial initiatives to improve the lives of
those with sarcoidosis.
We look back on our first decade with pride and look
forward with hope for what the next years will bring.
