FSR is seeking an experienced, dedicated, and highly motivated communications professional to amplify awareness of sarcoidosis, a rare chronic inflammatory condition that impacts between 150,000 and 200,000 individuals in the US. As FSR’s Communication Manager, you will lead the organization’s communications strategy, manage FSR’s website, e-blasts, and social media channels to increase public awareness, and implement strategies to amplify FSR’s research efforts in our mission to search for better treatments and cure.
This position requires strong writing, editing, marketing, project management and interpersonal skills. Requires an ability to work independently, supervise contractors, and focus on numerous projects simultaneously. Requires at least 5 years of equivalent communications experience with non-profit experience preferred. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress is strongly encouraged.
