FSR is hosting our fifth annual Team KISS 5K Run/Walk in Atlanta, GA this year. This event helps raise awareness about sarcoidosis while also fundraising for critical research and patient support programs. But the event is more than just a walk- it’s a movement. We work with volunteers from all across the globe to help them start their own independent Team KISS walks that correspond with our event in April, Sarcoidosis Awareness Month. We even have a virtual walk option, where you can join in on the fun (and still nab a Team KISS t-shirt) even if you’re unable to attend an event in person! This way, sarc warriors and their loved ones from all corners of the US and abroad can join us as we Kick In to Stop Sarcoidosis!

Walk to Remember PJ McGonagle
Hello friends and family! Another year has passed and the time is quickly approaching to Walk in Memory of PJ! The turn-out last year was SPECTACULAR! Let’s keep up the momentum to celebrate PJ and support a wonderful cause! Come join me on Saturday, April 28 as we KISS: Kick In to Stop Sarcoidosis. And, if you are not able to attend-no problem. At the young age of 45, cardiac sarcoidosis took the life of my husband, Patrick “PJ” McGonagle. PJ was full of life and energy and taken from all of us way too soon. Since his sudden death, I have become determined to “channel my inner PJ”, keep a positive outlook on life, and turn these bitter lemons into lemonade! So far, with the support of many generous family members and friends, I have raised over $12,000 to help The Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research find better treatments and get closer to a cure for this rare and sometimes fatal disease. Philadelphia Team KISS Walk
Join the Philadelphia team as they walk to increase awareness and crucial funds for sarcoidosis research! This event aims to unite the local sarcoidosis community-including but not limited to patients, their family, friends, loved ones and all those who support this mission. The walk will celebrate life and come together to support all who are battling this devastating disease.
