FSR is proud to announce that we will host a record seven conferences in 2017!

There remain many regions in which it is difficult to access a knowledgeable provider and quality information about sarcoidosis. Patients know better than anyone the devastating effects of sarcoidosis. Regardless of its effects, we all need the support of advocates to help us overcome. By attending an FSR Patient Conference, patients and loved ones gain access to valuable resources and networking opportunities. Working together, we are best able to care for ourselves, as well as accelerate patient-centered research.

He shared “that the trip from Milwaukee to Charleston was definitely worth it to attend the conference! I traveled with my family and my folks and I appreciated the hospitality and education we received. It was a great opportunity to hear from experts, talk to others who share the challenges that sarcoidosis presents, and learn about treatment options. Thank you to FSR for putting on the conference and for the medical professionals who shared their expertise with the attendees.”

Another patient shared her comments with speakers afterwards. Despite years of doctor visits, she finally put all the pieces together to fully understand the symptoms she’s been experiencing. Empowered with her new knowledge and the resources, she expects to work better alongside her physician back home. She hopes they’ll finally confirm her suspicions and consider the full range of options she has for treatment.

Keep an eye on our website as the new year approaches. We will post more details soon!
