This year, the Team KISS Walk/Run is going completely virtual. This means that participants worldwide can join and complete any route of their choosing – whether that is your neighborhood, favorite park, local trail, or even from your own home. See below for more details and sign up today!
Due to the ongoing challenges of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, FSR has made the decision to transition our 2020 Team KISS Walk/Runs to be a Virtual Team KISS Awareness Walk/Run. We are disappointed that we are unable to physically be together, yet we are confident that the Virtual Awareness Walk/Run will be a way to connect with our community and together raise awareness for sarcoidosis despite the distance that may be between us.
FSR’s 2020 Team KISS Walk/Runs will be replaced with a virtual race that will take place throughout the month of October. Participants will be able to walk or run a 5K at the time of their choosing time and using an app, upload their time and distance to the Virtual Team KISS walk/run website! Users will be provided with instructions for download and support as needed. Walkers and runners will have until October 31st, 2020 to complete a 5K distance and upload their photos and stats!
When:
The virtual awareness month walk will take place throughout the entire month of October. That means that you can walk, run, hop, skip, or jump rope the 5K anytime between now and October 31, 2020 and you’ll be doing your part to help us stop sarcoidosis. Starting on October 1st, your results and time will be visible on the walk homepage.
How:
After registering, download the It’s Your Race virtual mobile app. The app will allow you to run your virtual race and automatically track your pace, distance, and time. The app will automatically stop your session after you have completed the 5K distance (3.1 miles) and send your results in!
