FSR is announcing the postponement and rescheduling of our Chicago Patient Summit that was initially scheduled for April 3-5, 2020 in Chicago, IL.
The event has been rescheduled for August 30 – September 1, 2020.
The event location and agenda will remain the same, however the new event will take place on a Sunday-Tuesday due to scheduling needs. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please continue reading below for information for registered attendees as well as those who were planning to register for the April event.
The decision to reschedule this event was not made lightly and has the safety and comfort of patients at its core. The decision was made in response to current public health concerns about the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, and the potential for apprehension on the part of attendees. Numerous factors were considered, including travel concerns for out-of-town attendees,
FSR does not want to put our patient attendees in a position where they may feel their health is at risk, and does not want to put them in a position where they must choose between that concern and attending an educational event. Therefore, the best solution is to postpone the Summit for a later date when fewer patients will have to cancel out of consideration or concern for their health.

For Registered Attendees:
The Chicago Patient Summit has been rescheduled for AUGUST 30 – SEPTEMBER 1. The event will still be taking place at the same venue and will follow a similar schedule.
If you already registered for the Chicago Summit and paid the full registration fee, your registration has automatically been applied to the new event date later this year.
If you are able to attend the rescheduled Summit that will be taking place on AUGUST 30 – SEPTEMBER 1 in downtown Chicago at the same venue as previously scheduled, then you do not need to take any action. You will continue to get updates about the Summit as they come, and we will plan on seeing you there.
If you are not able to attend the rescheduled Summit that will be taking place on AUGUST 30 – SEPTEMBER 1 in downtown Chicago, please email Summits2020@stopsarcoidosis.org to discuss your options. We have prepared several options and will work with each individual to ensure they are satisfied to the best of our ability. While we regret any inconvenience the rescheduling may cause attendees, it was a necessary decision for the consideration of our patient population and their health concerns.

If you have already made a hotel reservation for the previous dates, your reservation has been automatically canceled. You will need to book a new reservation using the new group code for the new dates.
