While corticosteroids like prednisone are the most commonly prescribed medications for sarcoidosis, many patients struggle with their side effects. FSR is working hard every day to advance research on new treatments for sarcoidosis that will be more effective with fewer side effects. However, we need your input to better understand how patients are being prescribed corticosteroids for their sarcoidosis. We aim to incorporate the patient voice in all that we do. FSR wholeheartedly believes that patient engagement in research is the pathway to finding new treatments and improving care for sarcoidosis patients.
